An event to help people make the most of their money by reducing their outgoings will take place on Wednesday March 30 from 10am to 4pm at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea.
The Max Your Money Big Event will bring together a range of organisations to provide free and impartial advice that can help people save money and provide solutions to many financial worries.
The event will give people the opportunity to wander around the stalls and speak face to face with organisations that can help with debt, council tax, insurance, water, electric, gas and much more.
Help will be on hand to reduce bills and debts, to save energy and to claim entitlements, benefits and discounts. Support will also be available to help people with cheaper borrowing and saving and to give them career and employment advice.
Other activities and entertainment taking place on the day will include performances from St Joseph’s Cathedral School, Christchurch Primary School and Gorseinon Infants School. There will also be face painting for children on the day and lessons on using Skype.
The Max Your Money Big Event has been organised by the LASA Credit Union and Swansea Council.
