Exhibition of Community Archaeology in North East Wales

An exhibition of local archaeology and recent finds by the Community Archaeologist will be on display at Buckley Library 1 February to 31 March.

Appointed in May 2008, the Community Archaeologist has been busy all over North East Wales in the last year and this exhibition illustrates this work as well as images of local involvement in the fantastic archaeology of this region.  This post is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham Museums Services and CADW.

If you think you have found something of archaeological interest, and would like it identified, the community archaeologist will be at Buckley Library for a ‘Finds Day’ from 10am – 4pm on Thursday, 18 February.
