Faith Groups get together for Grangetown Festival

CiWPeople are invited to find out more about the different religions on their doorstep at a festival in one of Wales’ most diverse communities this weekend.

Faith groups are coming together under one tent at the Grangetown Festival, Cardiff, on Saturday (June 21). They represent some of the world’s major religions which all practice in the community and include Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, Sikhs and Bahai.

The event takes place at Grange Gardens from 1-4pm.

Revd Dr Mark Dimond, chair of the South Cardiff Interfaith Network, said, “Grangetown is a wonderfully diverse community richly blessed by people of many different faiths – it is a microcosm of the global faith community. This is a chance for people to find out more about them and see what we have to offer.”
