Biscuits from Brittany and Parisian purses will be among the products on sale when a French Market arrives in Swansea city centre later this week.
The market will be made available in Castle Square from Thursday December 10 to Sunday December 13.
Thirteen stalls are being set up to add to the Christmas Market on Oxford Street.
French bread, cheese, croissants, tartiflette, olives, garlic mushrooms, cold sausages and sweets will be among the food for sale.
A selection of basketwork, jewellery, watches, handbags, belts, soaps, books will also be available.
Swansea Council and France at Home are behind the French Market.
Cllr Chris Holley, Swansea Council Leader, said: “The French Market is one of the most popular attractions that comes to the city centre because it generates a terrific atmosphere and gives people a choice of specialist products not normally available so close to home.
“The Christmas Market has again been an outstanding success since being introduced on Oxford Street at the end of November and the French Market will add even more vibrancy to the area.
“It’s traditionally the busiest time of the year in the city centre and shoppers will be spoiled for choice thanks to the combination of these attractions with leading high street names, a range of independent traders and our historic indoor market.”
The Christmas Market is made up of 35 stalls selling products such as jam, wine, hand-made chocolates, shawls, wooden sculptures and scenic photography.
It will be available in the city centre along with daily street entertainment until Sunday December 13.
