A motorcyclist has died following a collision this afternoon near the Broughton Retail Park.
At 1.46pm today (Tuesday, April 26) police received a report of a collision from the Ambulance service. The collision occurred between a green coloured Ford Mondeo and a Yamahaa motorcycle on the junction between Bretton Lane and Chester Road.
The male motorcyclist sustained injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford Mondeo is not believed to have sustained injury.
Police investigations into the collision are underway and officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact officers at the Eastern Roads Policing Unit on 101 (if in Wales) 0845 6071001 (Welsh language line) 0845 6071002 (English language line).
