Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Bridgend : Police appeal

At approximately 0400 hours on Sunday 17th October 2010 a fatal Road Traffic Collision occurred on the A4061, Blackmill, near Bridgend at a location known locally as the Blackmill bends.

The collision involved a single vehicle, a new model Vauxhall Corsa, which was white in colour. The vehicle contained five local males. As a result of the collision, two of the occupants, both aged 19 years, sustained fatal injuries. It is known that the vehicle was travelling north along the road in the direction of Blackmill when control was lost and the collision took place. The families of those deceased have been informed.

An appeal is launched for witnesses, or for anyone who may have seen the vehicle being driven prior to the collision. Information is also sought from anyone who may have seen the vehicle or its occupants during the evening of Saturday 16th October in Bridgend Town Centre.
