Fatal RTC in Sealand: Man arrested

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and bailed following the fatal road traffic collision in Sealand on Monday, 15th February.

The driver has been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the collision which occurred shortly before 9:20pm near Yew Tree Farm on the A548.

18-year-old Daniel Thomas Evans was pronounced dead at the scene and three others were taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.

One has since been transferred to Whiston Hospital on the Wirrall and is said to be in a stable condition. Another man remains at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
