Fishguard Folk Festival

This weekend the port town of Fishguard will be filled with colourful displays of dancing, tunes and jigs for the 11th annual Fishguard Folk Festival. Starting on Friday 28th May and ending on Monday 31st May, it has become one of Wales’ most popular traditional music festivals.

The ever popular Royal Oak is at the centre of festival activity, making it the perfect place to stop for a pint. The pub and the garden marquee will play host to various free concerts, open mic sessions and dancing displays, with additional activity happening on the street in front of the pub.

Other events include workshops, meet-the-artist events and busking. The festival is free, with the exception of one fee paying concert at the Theatr Gwaun featuring Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies.
