Flea market comes to town

Pontypool Indoor Market will be alive with bargain hunters and collectors when it hosts its first Flea Market next month.

The Flea Market, that takes place on Friday, October 1, is an opportunity to spend some time rummaging through the stalls and meeting up with old friends while grabbing a bargain or two.

Selling space is available on a first come first served basis at £5 per table.

To book call 01495 766029.

All other market stalls and facilities will be open as usual so go along and see what you can find.

The Flea market will run from 9am to 3pm, the indoor market is open as usual until 5pm.

Flea Markets are planned for the first Friday of each month until February.

“Starting a monthly Flea Market is another example of how our officers are always looking at new ways of improving town centre services,” said John Cunningham, Torfaen council’s executive member for Neighbourhood Services.

“We hope this new event proves popular with shoppers, if it does it could become a permanent feature in the indoor market.”
