Fifty schools in Flintshire are busy learning their lines, perfecting their dance moves and tuning up their voices for a celebration of arts excellence in schools as part of the Flintshire Dancefest and Flintshire Schools in Performance being held at Clwyd Theatr Cymru from 28 – 30 June and 4 – 8 July 2011.
With performances which would rival ‘Popstar to Operastar’, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, Flintshire schools certainly have the ‘X Factor’!
Councillor Nigel Steel-Mortimer, Executive Member for Education, said:
“Flintshire is delighted to offer a platform to showcase this talent and we are committed in supporting our performers of the future.”
