Four men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident that occurred at approximately 8.50am this morning, Friday 20th June, at a Garage on Tregwilym Road, Rogerstone which resulted in a man receiving stab wounds.
A 39 year old man from Newport is currently at the Royal Gwent Hospital in a life threatening condition receiving treatment for his injuries.
The four men arrested are currently in police custody. The investigation ongoing.
