Free chipping at neighbourhood events

Neighbourhoods in Action week hits the streets of Pembrokeshire next week.

From May 24- 28th all the agencies of Safer Pembrokeshire will be demonstrating how they work together to keep you safe.

Road shows, community projects, education programmes and enforcement activity will take place throughout the county.

Alison Rogers, of Safer Pembrokeshire, said: “There are lots of opportunities for people to get involved during the week.

“The whole aim of Neighbourhoods in Action is to get local residents to work with agencies to improve the quality of life in their communities.

“All the projects we are undertaking have been suggested by community members. There are also road shows where people can come along and find out more about what all the agencies can do for them.

“Neighbourhoods in Action is a visible display of the work agencies do on a daily basis to keep Pembrokeshire a safe place to live and work.”

The road shows take place between 10am-4pm each day:

May 24 Castle Square, Haverfordwest

May 25 Tesco car park, Milford Haven

May 26 Commons Road car park. Pembroke

May 27 The Green Car Park, Tenby

May 28 West Street car park, Fishguard

Between 11am and 2pm each day the Council’s dog wardens will be on site providing free micro-chipping for dogs that are brought to the event.
