BBC Radio 4 Gardeners’ Question Time Summer Garden Party is the horticultural event of the year, and on Sunday June 29th the party is at the National Botanic Garden of Wales – the very first time it has been held outside England.
As well as the recording of two editions of GQT, there will also be plenty of opportunities for you to meet your horti heroes and chat togardening gurus in a variety of venues on the day.

James Wong will be on hand to help inspire a ‘Homegrown Revolution’ and Matthew Wilson will be assessing this year’s must-have colours. Long-time GQT host Eric Robson will be taking a Welsh Country Walk in search of the Greater Butterfly Orchid, while Matthew Biggs will be discussing ‘Gardening for Children’.

In addition, there are walks and talks aplenty, as well as choirs performing all day in the Great Glasshouse a special Food Court and plant fair to ensure the event caters for all tastes.
