Get the lowdown on great things to do in Gwynedd

If you’re looking for something to keep you and your family occupied this summer, you need not go any further than your local Tourist Information Centre.

These offices are not solely for the use of visitors to the area, they can be the gateway to range of fun activities and attractions for people who live here all year round.

Councillor Dyfed Edwards, leader of Gwynedd Council, said: “Our Tourist Information Centres are a one-stop-shop for information about local events, festivals, open days, children’s activities and interesting places to go for a day out and advice about the many outdoor activities available in Gwynedd.

“You can also buy maps and guide books at the centres or find out about footpaths and cycle routes – ideal if you’re planning on making the most of the great outdoors here in Gwynedd.

“The friendly staff can also tell customers about public transport links within the county.”

Tourist Information Centre are also useful if you are venturing further afield – staff can book accommodation anywhere in the UK for you and can reserve tickets for National Express coach services.
