Glamorgan students search out online marketing skills

Search Engine Marketing Specialist, Liz Gray, visited the Glamorgan Business School last week to deliver guest lectures and workshops on the emerging marketing vehicles of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Social Media.

Liz Gray, (pictured) – currently on sabbatical from Fanshawe College, Canada working with one of world’s leading consultants in paid search Page Zero Media – spent the week at Glamorgan offering workshops to both students and staff. The sessions delivered by Liz allowed attendees to enhance their understanding of some of the most popular digital marketing vehicles currently in use worldwide.

The international visitor spoke to marketing students at all levels including students from the MSc Marketing and BA (Hons) Marketing courses, with students leaving the mentioned SEM sessions with the ability to confidently execute and implement a marketing campaign utilising new media components.

Liz Gray’s visit to the University of Glamorgan follows the recent collaborations the Glamorgan Business School has established with Canadian Colleges, including Fanshawe College, that aims to develop student and staff exchanges and joint programme delivery.

The Glamorgan Business School is now looking forward to building on its international collaborations whilst further embedding new emerging areas of marketing within its course portfolio.
