Glynn Vivian Art Gallery has launched its new free events programme for March and April, bringing a diverse and intriguing mix of music, performance, talk and discussion for everyone to enjoy.

This Friday 5 March at 1pm, visitors to the gallery can expect the unexpected as local performance artist Joan Jones takes to the stage to perform her bizarre mix of ukulele and yodelling.

Then on Friday 12 March at 1pm, artist and lecturer Paul Jeff will be in conversation with Tom Pope, whose exhibition, The Escapades of The Higher Man, is currently being shown at the gallery and continues until April 18.

On Friday 19 March at 3.30pm, Free:30 Sessions presents live music from Welsh singer / songwriter Jonathan Powell. Catch him as he performs songs from his album Forgive This Day.

Make a date in your diary for Friday 16 April at 3.30pm as acclaimed British author Niall Griffiths will visit the gallery to read extracts from his current projects and talk about his work.
