Graffiti Classics are a string quartet with a difference; they were founded in 1997 by four young professional musicians, who met whilst busking in London’s Covent Garden.
They have since performed on the QE2 and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The now internationally acclaimed ‘stand-up string quartet’ will be coming to Theatr Mwldan on Thursday 18th November 2010 at 7.30pm.
If you are looking for jaw-dropping, mouth-watering, belly-aching and side-splitting entertainment then look no further. Graffiti Classics provides an exciting and unique alternative to the classic String Quartet, offering an all-singing, all-dancing, comedy cabaret act.
Defying all preconceptions of how a classical group should behave, Graffiti Classics combine brilliant musicianship with an all-singing, all-dancing attack on an incredibly broad musical programme, ranging from renditions of Gershwin and McCartney to the more expected classical territory of Strauss and Ravel, a refreshing insight into the world of classical music for everyone whatever their age.
To book tickets for this unique musical experience, priced £13 (£11), contact the box office on 01239 621200 or book online at www.mwldan.co.uk
