A busy half term holiday is in store at Cardiff Castle from Sunday 14 February to Friday 19 February with a medieval Barber Surgeon in residence, plus archery displays and drop-in art and craft workshops.
The Medieval Ages were blood-curdling times. The Barber Surgeon opens his surgery with hair-raising tales of medieval medicine – suitable tales for children – but not the faint hearted. Meet a medieval knight, hear his tales of bravery and courage on the battlefield and try on authentic armour or watch the archer in action in the twice daily archery displays.
