London based, Ipswich born four piece Ideals stop off for a headlining show at Cardiff’s Undertone on the 19th of January as part of their UK tour in support of their forthcoming new single ‘Significant Other’ released on the 21st of February through Intruder records. Their finest release to date ‘Significant Other’ is a sharp, melodic hook laden guitar anthem full of floor filling rhythms, swaying horn section and an insatiably arcing chorus provided by Ideals singer Andrew Major, it draws favourable comparisons with everyone from the Maccabees and The National to White Lies and The Cure.

Ideals have completed two UK tours in 2010 playing the length and breadth of these fair isles, playing support slots with both Pete Doherty and The Automatic along the way. In all, Ideals released four very well received singles in 2010.
