Jelly fish beach warning

Denbighshire County Council is urging people to be vigilant along the coast during the current warm sunny spell after a number of jelly fish were reported washed ashore along a small stretch of beach between Rhyl and Prestatyn.

The area affected is the beach near the Nova Centre (Prestatyn) to Splash Point (Rhyl).

With the weather expected to stay settled for the coming few days, the Council is asking people to continue enjoying their visit to the beach but to be careful when they walk along beaches, as a sting by a jelly fish can cause mild irritation to some individuals.
