Higher Shotton Communities First have organised a Jobsfair for the benefit of local people in Shotton. The event will take place on Wednesday 21st April 2010 10am- 3pm at John Summers High School (Main Hall).
The aim of the event is to help local people find work and help employers to fill their vacancies.
Local employers are keen to be involved and already Morrison’s (route way Course), Premier Home Care, Flintshire County Council plus Deeside College have already pledged support for the event.
As well as finding out about jobs, people will be able to find out about training courses which will help them to gain the skills and knowledge they need in today’s modern workplace.
Recruiting and upskilling staff is very important to business and attracting the right person for the job is essential. Equally, helping local people in their search for suitable employment is the key to all round success.
Local Residents need only turn up on the day, there is no need to book in advance.
