Motorists are asked not to drive along Hendrefoilan Lane in Killay until road closed signs have been removed.
The signs will be in place until Swansea Council has removed a tree that’s fallen along the lane during the recent wet and windy weather.
The tree is suspended above the ground by the branches of another tree but Council officers warn it could fall at any time.
Swansea Council is awaiting the delivery of specialist equipment to remove the tree. It’s hoped the equipment will arrive today (Wednesday September 21).
A Council spokesperson said: “The road closed signs are there for a reason and we’d urge all drivers to keep off Hendrefoilan Lane until the tree has been removed and the signs have been taken away.”
