‘It’s great that Wrexham Year of Culture will be showcasing the very best of what’s on offer from local and national retailers in Wrexham.

Wrexham’s first Fashion Week will be full of great events and there will definitely be something for everyone, be it men, women or children. Wrexham has so much variety in what it has to offer the fashion industry including lots of great new talent like the design students at Yale College. Fashion Week will enable us to showcase all of this talent and put Wrexham on the map as a great place to shop for fashion.’

One of the main events of the week will be the charity fashion show which is taking place in Yale College in aid of Hope House Hospice.

The event costs just £5 and will include a glass of wine or soft drink on arrival. Companies exhibiting in the show are Matalan, First Lady Bridal, Baffino, Serruti and The Babootique, along with talented students from Yale College.

Doors open at 7pm and the fashion show will take place between 7.30pm – 9.30pm; tickets are available from Wrexham Tourist Information Centre (01978 292015).
