The Flintshire Business Week Magazine – FBW11- has been officially launched!
The FBW11 magazine, which is sponsored by Parkway Telecom, Saltney, was launched at an event at Chester Football Club in Sealand, Flintshire, on Friday.
Parkway Telecom, Saltney, are the first ever headline sponsors for the Flintshire Business Week magazine, which will be a full colour publication and will be distributed during September and October as part of Flintshire Business Week 2011, which takes place October 11 – 19.
Over 100 business people from Flintshire, Wrexham and Chester attended the launch event. They included the sponsors of the Flintshire Business Awards – AGS Security Systems, the Federation of Small Businesses, Careers Wales, West Coast Energy, Gardners Accountants, Duncan Sheard Glass and B2 Business Systems.
Lord Barry Jones and Councillor Arnold Woolley, Leader of Flintshire County Council, were guest speakers at the launch. The newly appointed Chair of Flintshire County Council, Councillor Hilary McGuill, also attended as did the MP for Chester, Stephen Mosley.
Speaking after the event, Cllr Arnold Woolley said:
“It’s always a pleasure to support events associated with the Flintshire Business Week. It’s great to see new local businesses attending too. I hope that they reap the benefits of coming along to these occasions, and prosper and grow in the same way as the magazine sponsors, Parkway Telecom, have done.”
