The Leader of Pembrokeshire County Council, Councillor John Davies, has paid tribute to Council staff who worked over the recent festive season.
Councillor Davies said the current cold spell was proving extremely challenging.
I’d like to pay tribute to all our staff who worked tirelessly over the Christmas and New Year period – whether they were keeping our roads open or caring for the vulnerable in our community” he said.
“Many employees gave up their end-of-year holidays and worked on Christmas and New Year’s Day to ensure that people in Pembrokeshire received their services and could travel in safety.”
