Lifeboat ends wet walkies

New Quay inshore lifeboat crew were called on service 1:45pm on Saturday afternoon after reports that a dog had fallen over a cliff. The owner raised the alarm after the loveable pet had fallen over a cliff between Ynys Lochtyn and Llangrannog.

Once the volunteers were on the scene a crew man was put ashore to locate the injured dog. The dog was found alive but with a possible broken leg after falling 200ft.

After a short journey in the inshore lifeboat back to Llangrannog beach, the pet was reunited with its owners.
