The Little and Broad Haven inshore lifeboat launched just before 5.30pm on the 1st May to assist two kayakers. The surf and kayak shop in Newgale raised the alarm after two kayaks were late returning after being hired from the shop.
Two adults, husband and wife were located 1 mile off Newgale beach, in a strong off shore wind, cold and starting to tire. The RNLI lifeboat crew towed the two kayaks back to shore at Newgale.
