The Llangynhafal and Hendrerwydd History Project is seeking stories, photographs and objects reflecting rural life in the Llangynhafal and Hendrerwydd area. We are gathering information about the area in order to produce a history booklet about the villages, which will complement the new Community Miles walk for the area.
A memory gathering event will be held on Friday November 22nd at Ty Coch Barns, between 5 and 8pm. Your views and ideas for the booklet, as well as your stories, photographs and other objects are welcomed, so why not call in and see us!
This project has received funding through the Sustainable Development Fund for the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007 -2013, which is funded by the Welsh Governments and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
