Members of the public took the opportunity to meet their local officers at the Benllech carnival which took place over the weekend.
Members of the Anglesey Neighbourhood Policing Team were on hand to meet people and chat about their work in the community.
The team utilised their new public engagement tent to help promote no cold calling, the work of the Police Volunteer Cadets, crime prevention messages and Balance your Bobbies. Youngsters were also given the opportunity to sit in the police car and see how the lights and siren operated.
Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant Andy McGregor said: “Close engagement with the community is key to making people feel reassured and that we are listening to them.
“This was a great event, which saw lots of residents and visitors stop and chat to us. Over the next few weeks members of the team will be out and about across the Island and I encourage everyone who sees them to stop and talk to them.”
