Make sure you have your say

With the National Assembly for Wales elections and the referendum on the voting system for United Kingdom parliamentary elections held on 5 May 2011, it is important that people register to vote.

If you are not on the electoral register and wish to vote in the upcoming National Assembly for Wales elections and the referendum on the voting system for United Kingdom parliamentary elections held on 5 May 2011, you must have registered by 5pm on Thursday, 14 April 2011.

Dilys Phillips, Gwynedd Council’s Electoral Registration Officer, said:

“I would urge everyone to make sure that they are registered so that they can take part in the democratic process – remember no vote means no voice. Making sure you have a vote in 2011couldn’t be easier.”
