Man arrested following Dyserth disturbance

Police are appealing for witnesses to a disturbance in Dyserth, over the Easter weekend.

Police received a call at 11.36pm on Saturday 3 April reporting an incident at an address in Lower Foel Road, Dyserth.

The disturbance then spilled over into a neighbouring property.

As a result of the incident a 15 year old boy and a 46-year old man sustained serious injuries which required hospital treatment. Both remain in hospital, but the injuries are not described as being life threatening.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempt murder.

House to house enquiries have been conducted in the area, and police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incidents or who may have heard the disturbance.

Detective Sergeant Mark Abbott said: “It was a bank holiday weekend and people would have been up and about later than normal. We would urge anyone who heard the noise or who may have seen the disturbance taking place to contact Central CID in St Asaph.”
