Commenting on a fall in the number of people who are unemployed in Wales, Shadow Minister for the Economy David Melding AM, said:
“These figures are encouraging and clearly show the labour market is in better shape than some had feared in Wales.
“It is now essential that the Assembly Government works hard to build on these figures and helps to create the opportunities that we need in the Welsh economy.
“Our private sector is key to continued growth and more must be done to give it the support it needs.”
