Danter’s funfair, various children’s entertainers and the Red Dragon Radio Roadshow will also be present to keep the crowds entertained.

Kids should also keep a look out for Santa all day around the Town Centre, as Santa will be visiting St Tydfils Shopping Centre during the day, followed by a visit to the Children’s Ward in Prince Charles hospital.

The lighting ceremony begins at 6.00pm and ends at 7.00pm with the switching on of the inner town lights. The funfair will remain open until 8.30pm
