Darren Millar, Assembly Member for Clwyd West, has hit out at a decision by RBS to reduce the opening hours of their branch in Colwyn Bay.
RBS has announced that their branch in Colwyn Bay will reduce its opening hours and will now only open part-time. Following representations from a number of constituents, Darren Millar has urged RBS to re-consider their decision.
Darren said:
‘RBS’s decision that the Colwyn Bay branch will only open part-time is a kick in the teeth for local residents. I have already been contacted by a number of constituents expressing their concern.
‘I was unaware that there would be any change to the bank’s opening hours and the decision seems to have been taken without any consultation of RBS’s loyal customers or local elected representatives.
‘I will be meeting RBS in the next couple of weeks and will urge them re-consider their position. RBS should provide full time opening hours for my constituents, local businesses and the many thousands of visitors who come to Colwyn Bay every year.’
