Millar: Learn lessons to avert Legionnaires’ threat

Commenting on the publication of a report into the outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease in the South Wales Valleys in autumn 2010, Darren Millar AM, Shadow Minister for Health and Social Services, said:

“This outbreak had tragic consequences for the victims and their families and was a worrying time for communities across South Wales.

“It is now vital that local authorities across Wales, Ministers and other public bodies learn the lessons and implement the report’s recommendations to protect public safety and minimise future risks to public health.”
