Missing Wrexham woman witness appeal

North Wales Police trying to trace a missing Wrexham woman are appealing for a man seen in her company to come forward.

Michelle Valerie Lowe, 36, of Pen Y Bryn, Wrexham was reported missing on September 17, but has not been seen since August 26, 2010.

However, there was a positive sighting of her, captured on CCTV, in the company of a man at the Farmfoods store in Hightown Wrexham on Wednesday afternoon September 15.

Police would like to identify and trace this man to help them with enquiries.

Constable Lynne Willsher said: “As he appears to be the last person to have seen Michelle, we would appeal to him to come forward as a witness in order that he can assist police in locating Michelle.

“We have no reason to believe at this time that Michelle has been harmed in any way. However, her family are obviously concerned for her welfare and would like to know that she is safe and well.”

Michelle is described as a 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, about size 10, with long auburn hair.

She is known to have connections in Denbigh and Anglesey and is also known to frequent the Chester area.

Any information should be forwarded to Wrexham CID on 01978 348838 or the control room on 101 or 08456071002. The missing person log is 4061.
