Monmouthshire Council Driving Course Aims to Boost Young People’s Skills and Safer Motoring

MonmouthshireMonmouthshire County Council is promoting a course for young people aged 17 to 25 which concentrates on safer motoring, better driving skills and could lead to lower insurance payments.

Supported by the Welsh Government, Pass Plus Cymru is a course designed for young people who have passed their driving test but wish to discover advanced hints and tips and widen their experience behind the wheel.  The next Pass Plus Cymru course will be held at Abergavenny Fire Station, Hereford Road, NP7 5PU on Tuesday 10th June from 6 to 9pm.

The course will focus on motorway driving, techniques and hazard awareness, getting around at night, coping with busy towns and cities, driving on rural country roads and thinking ahead.
