Monmouthshire County Council’s Cabinet has been reorganised to better reflect the council’s new management structure and to accommodate the departures of Councillor Brian Hood, who has been elected this year’s council Vice Chairman, and Cllr Eric Saxon who has chosen to leave the Cabinet to focus on other areas.
Council leader, Cllr Peter Fox, said:
“We need a cabinet structure that reflects the way that the council is now managed. I believe that we have been able to achieve this. And as a result of the new structure, there will be financial savings because there are now seven rather than eight cabinet members.”
