Mountain rescue incidents

The following are details of three separate mountain rescue incidents yesterday (Monday, 26th October):

Shortly before 8pm last night, police received a report that a group of four climbers were in difficulty on Tryfan Mountain.

Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team was called and assisted the group off the mountain. Nobody was injured.

A girl was taken to hospital yesterday evening after injuring her ankle whilst walking on the Miners Track on Snowdon.

Shortly after 6pm a report was received that the 17-year-old was unable to walk and the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team were called.

The girl was carried down on a stretcher and was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor by ambulance.

A 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon after sustaining a knee injury whilst walking with a Scout Group on Moel Hebog in Gwynedd.

Shortly before 2:30pm police received a report that the boy had fallen and Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue were called to assist.

The boy was carried down on a stretcher and taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
