To accompany the exhibition Jan Gardner: Mythical Marks and Colour Magic at Colwyn Bay Library, Artist Jan Gardner will lead a masterclass.
Join Jan Gardner on a journey with colour, mark-making and your imagination.
The purpose of this workshop will be to look at colour and some of the stories behind their ancient origins. Through Jan’s interpretations you will be encouraged to explore your own ideas through mixed media and your own imaginative use of colour working with acrylics, inks, collage and pastels on paper. You are advised to bring along some ideas you’d like to develop or images to inspire.

Time – 10am – 4pm
Cost – £20 each – payment by cheque only to ‘Conwy County Borough Council’ prior to the session
Materials – most materials will be provided but please bring along your own art box including brushes, palettes, drawing materials, water pot, apron and sketchbook.
