MP to see revamped Holywell police set-up

NW PoliceLocal MP David Hanson will be among the guests at Holywell Police Station today to find out more about recent changes made to improve local service delivery and increase public confidence in the police.

The station has reorganised its Community Beat Management structure and will become a response base for several sergeants and response officers from December 1.

The guests, who will also include the Mayor of Holywell, Councillor Rosetta Dolphin, Communities First Co-ordinator David McKnight, Town Centre Manager Medwyn Roberts and Stephen Hughes of the Holywell Chamber of Commerce, will learn how the local police is responding to public enquiries and concerns.

District Inspector David Roome said, “We recognise the importance of consulting with communities and being responsive to their needs. The reorganisation of Holywell gives us a real opportunity to demonstrate how seriously we take our responsibilities, which are reiterated by the Policing Pledge, and how keen we are to act.

“I encourage the public to keep talking to their local police. What we are doing in Holywell shows we are listening.’
