Clwyd West MP, David Jones, visited the WRVS lunch club at the Parkway Community Centre, Rhos on Sea, last Friday.
Mr Jones enjoyed lunch with some of the local residents who meet every Friday, and spoke to the WRVS volunteers who operate the service.
David Jones said:
“The WRVS have an unrivalled history of community service throughout the country. They are particularly active and well supported in Colwyn Bay area.
“The elderly residents who meet at the club every week deeply appreciate not only the good food on offer, but also the opportunity to meet and chat with friends. For many of them, it is an important social occasion.
“I was very pleased to attend the lunch and look forward to visiting the club again in the future.”
