Officers investigating the death of a man who was found in a house on Harold Street, Pontnewydd, Cwmbran on Tuesday 6th September would like to speak to a Cwmbran man who may be able to help them with enquiries.
They are trying to find 37 year old Barry Bowyer from Cwmbran (pictured).
He is described as 5’11” tall, of a slim build, with brown eyes and short dark brown hair.
He has a number of tattoos;
On his left arm he has a bird of paradise, the letters ‘EVS’, five dots and a picture of a waterfall.
On his right arm he has the words ‘Linda’ and ‘Brandon’.
He also has the letters ‘DP’ and the word ‘smile’ tattooed on his left leg.
It’s believed he could hold vital information that could assist police with enquiries.
Officers are also trying to trace a car – a white Ford Mondeo, registration number R717 VOA.
A 26 year old woman from the Cwmbran area who was arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody at this time.
Officers received a call at approximately 3.45pm on Tuesday 6th September from a local resident concerned about the welfare of the man who was then found dead at a house in Harold Street after officers forced entry into the house.
The cause of death is yet to be established.
Anyone with any information that could assist the investigation is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. If anyone sees Barry Bowyer they are advised not to approach him and to instead call police.
There are officers in the area, carrying out enquiries and anyone with any concerns or information can also speak to them.
