Officers investigating the death of a man who was found in a house on Harold Street, Pontnewydd, Cwmbran on Tuesday 6th September have arrested the 37 year old Cwmbran man they wanted to speak to in connection with the investigation.
Barry Bowyer was arrested, in the Newport area, on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.
Officers have also traced the white Ford Mondeo they were looking for. It was located in the Newport area.
A 26 year old woman from the Cwmbran area who was arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody at this time.
Officers received a call at approximately 3.45pm on Tuesday 6th September from a local resident concerned about the welfare of the man who was then found dead at a house in Harold Street after officers forced entry into the house.
The cause of death is yet to be established.

Specialist officers are supporting the family of the victim. There are officers in the area, carrying out enquiries and anyone with any concerns or information can also speak to them.
