National Recognition for Mo

A Powys highways employee has been formally recognised for his contribution to a national working group.

Powys County Council’s
Streetworks Manager Mo Abraham has been actively involved with the Joint Authorities Group (JAGUK) for over 10 years. The organisation represents highway and road authorities across the UK on street work and traffic management matters.

The award, given by discretion of the JAGUK Board, recognises Mo’s contribution to extend the guarantee period for utility company works from 2 years to 5 years. He is presently working with both Ceredigion and Powys councils to establish a joint working arrangement for management of streetworks.
