Neath Company Going for National Award

Neath based company Hale Construction Ltd is celebrating after picking up two national awards.

The company has scooped top prizes in the All Wales Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Award.

The first award was for the recently completed development at Twynteg in Caewern, Neath and the second for the best partnership with a local authority.

Hale Construction will now go on to represent both Neath Port Talbot and Wales in the LABC national building excellence awards in London later this month.

Building Control Manager at Neath Port Talbot Council, Paul Davis, said, “Hale Construction’s success in this year’s awards is unparalleled, which is quite some success given that they have been competing against some of the multi national companies.”

Council Leader, Ali Thomas, added, “The flagship Ty Twynteg development is an outstanding example of what can be achieved when local companies form partnerships with the local authority.

“All have worked together to produce a development to be proud of.

“Hale Construction now goes on to compete for Neath Port Talbot against the best that the UK has to offer and I wish them good luck and offer the council’s best wishes for the award night.”
