Neath Robbery – Police Appeal for Information

Police in Neath are investigating a robbery which happened on the footbridge linking the town centre and Milland Road.

The incident happened at around 10.45pm on Sunday 11th May.

The 39-year-old male victim was walking across the bridge with his 16-year-old son and a woman when they were confronted by a group of three males and a female and became involved in an altercation.
During the altercation the man’s mobile phone became dislodged from his pocket and was stolen.

Police have released CCTV images to identify those responsible. One of the males is wearing an Adidas hooded top, another is wearing a dark coloured hooded top with light trousers, a female is wearing a bobble hat and a blue top and another male is wearing a patterned jumper.

Detective Sergeant Carl Morris of Neath CID said: “We are appealing to anyone who recognises the individuals in the CCTV pictures to come forward.”
