New Help for Sandycroft Companies

Businesses based in Sandycroft and the CH5 and CH4 areas in Flintshire can now take advantage of a new service from the County Council. Under a new scheme, companies now only need to talk to one person when they are looking for business help from the council.

The new Sandycroft contact is Oli Rhys, a business advisor for the council since 2008. “I am delighted to be involved in this project. Sandycroft is an area of Flintshire where there are so many successful businesses” he said.

The service aims to help businesses find out what help is available to them. This could involve government backed loans or grants, training and networking opportunities through to advice on how to get on to tender lists.

Small businesses are very important to the future prosperity of Flintshire and the Council sets great importance in providing whatever help we can. By providing a dedicated point of contact, the Council wants to build a strong relationship with the business community and other support agencies.

Any company with an interest in finding out more can contact Oli on 01352 703224 or through email on [email protected]. Alternatively, he can be contacted through the ‘Flintshire Business Network’ on the LinkedIn.com website.
