New Information Centre

A Travel  at Cardiff Central Station will provide advice and guidance on all forms of sustainable transport in the city from Monday, August 16.

Based in the main concourse of the train station, the kiosk will be staffed from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Information will be available on all aspects of the Sustainable Travel City scheme, including cycle routes, bus departure times and where to board, pedestrian friendly environments and facilities and access for the disabled.

Information will also be available about the Cardiff Bike Scheme, which already operates from hire points around the city, including the front and rear of the station.

Executive Member for Transport, Cllr Delme Bowen, said: “This centre will provide a one stop shop for any questions or queries on travelling around our city. Through our Sustainable Travel City schemes we are working to keep Cardiff moving and provide residents and visitors with safe and reliable sustainable modes of transport. The Travel Information Centre will give people the opportunity to find out more about what’s on offer.”
