Building work started in September at Denbigh library is ahead of schedule and due to be completed during the week commencing 19 October.
The refurbishment moved the One Stop Shop to the ground floor which makes it easier for customers to make enquiries about council services.
A payment kiosk has also replaced the cash office which gives residents the ability to make secure automated payments for any council service whenever the library is open, for example on Saturday mornings or late evenings. The kiosk will take cash or card payments and post the payment directly to the customer’s account.
A dedicated member of the cash office staff will be available to assist customers in using the kiosk for the first month. After this time the One Stop Shop advisers will be on hand to answer any customer queries.
The new Library/One Stop Shop counter and payment kiosk will be available for the public to use on Thursday 22 October.
